Dad and mum are a great pair, different to each other in many ways but sharing incredible values and beautiful human qualities. I love their relationship with each other and with us kids and as I grow older, I become more excited about how our family is growing bigger and even more loving, fun and wonderful.
I love that my dad and mum will be James' in-laws (and that his fantastic parents will be my in-laws) and our potential kids will have not only parents who love them but grandparents on both sides who are going to spoil them with the kind of love we both had growing up. I thought I'd share some pictures of mum and dad from this weekend and some of the gifts mum received this Mother's Day so far - Josh and Reggie sent dad to Sydney with a gift of her favourite clothing item - PYJAMAS - and we gave her some make-up and sweet treats she used to eat back in Scotland.
Ahem - if my other siblings are reading this - mum and dad will be arriving in Melbourne shortly so I'm sure you'll be on your way to see mum and bring her your cards and goodies...!
Dear Anna,
ReplyDeleteI loved these pics and your blogs about Dad and I. We have very few photos of us together so thanks for taking these ones.
We loved our time with you and James, you are both so easy to be around. I loved reading your Mothers day blog, but I admit I cried through most of it, so lovely to read such a positive blog about ME, You are a treasure and it is Dad and I who are the lucky ones to have you in our lives, you teach us so much, Dad hopes you will pop your Santa letter in the Santa Bush this year. He is still wondering why you didnt many years ago, put him out of his misery for me. Lots of love, Mum xxxxx
