A couple of bloggers I follow are currently doing this same challenge and I am enjoying every single post. I wanted to do it for myself because a lot of the questions I have never really asked myself and would love the opportunity to self-reflect ("would love the opportunity"... what is this??? A cover letter??? A centre for ANTS???
I might just dive in straight away with day one, if you don't mind. So as you may know, I am engaged to be married. The challenge asks single people to discuss how single life is but doesn't ask "taken" people to discuss how their lives are. I might just volunteer this information myself, then!
Being engaged to James is the most natural thing in the world for me. If only I could express the gravity of that statement! It wasn't long after we first met that we knew, plainly and simply, that we wanted to spend the rest of our days with this person and this person only (oh, and our future kiddies, if we're blessed with them).
Since we met, we're both happier, we laugh more, we can be ourselves. Things we used to care about don't matter anymore. Even the bad things don't feel quite as bad when you've got your best friend by your side.
Everyone we know just thinks that us meeting was the best thing for both of us. We knew that already, but it's really special to have the support of our family and friends too.
I don't much like doing posts without pictures, so I'll leave you with this one of us I dug up from the 1940's:

Pretty please will you do the 30 Day Challenge with me? Come on, be a sport! I want to know about YOU!!!
